The accuracy of the record count and location of material stowed in the warehouse is very important in ensuring that the record match with the actual material count and location. The standard inventory accuracy is around 98% and 100 % for location accuracy.  Incorrect inventory count or invalid locations can mean loss of sales or high inventory overhead.
